Fred Fowler

Fred Fowler is a certified 3rd Level Professional Scrum Master, one of only about 50 individuals in the United States to have earned that certification. He is recognized internationally as an expert in the Scrum Framework, having taught Scrum to students in the United States Canada, Asia and Central America.

Mr. Fowler has more than 30 years of software development experience and is a former CIO and VP of Information technology. He is an acclaimed teacher and has trained and coached more than 300 Scrum students over the past year alone.

In addition to offering classes through FMFA inc., Mr.Fowler is an Adjunct Professor with the Silicon Valley Polytechnic Institute and a contract instructor with cPrime, inc.

BIO OF FRED FOWLER

Fred Fowler is an internationally recognized expert in the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies and practices. He is one of only about 50 individuals in the United States to have earned the prestigious “Professional Scrum Master level III” (PSM III) certification from Scrum.org. He is also only the 79th person worldwide to earn the coveted “Scaled Professional Scrum” (SPS) certification, also awarded by that body.

Mr. Fowler provides training, coaching and consulting services to organizations and individuals wishing to master the use of Scrum. His clients include Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Wells Fargo Bank, Oracle corporation, Western Union, Cognizant, TCS and HCL Technologies. He is also on the faculty of the Silicon Valley Polytechnic institute where he teaches college level Professional Scrum Master certification classes.
